Receta Falafel

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. AM Garbanzo Flour
- 1 c. Cool water
- 1 med Onion
- 2 x Garlic cloves
- 1/2 bn Fresh parsley Warm green pepper (to taste) chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Salt and pepper
- 1/4 tsp Non-alum baking pwdr
- 1 pch Baking soda
Direcciones
- Mix all ingredients, except soda, together in a food processor or possibly blender.
- Mix thoroughly. (Falafel may be frzn at this stage. Thaw completely before adding soda and cooking.) When ready to fry, fold in the soda.
- Shape into small patties, 1-1/2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
- Fry in deep, warm oil till lightly browned and crisp. Serve warm with tomatoes in pita bread. Add in cucumber pickles if you like.
