%20and%20the%20producer,%20very%20important%20with%20the%20current%20concerns%20about%20what%20we%20are%20eating%20and%20where%20it%20comes%20from.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20Jubilee%20sausages%20are%20huge,%20a%20single%20sausage%20is%20quite%20enough%20for%20one%20person.%20%20I%20simply%20put%20them%20in%20my%20Mermaid%20roasting%20tin%20with%20a%20little%20oil%20and%20put%20them%20in%20the%20oven%20at%20180C%20until%20they%20were%20well%20browned,%20about%2030%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20served%20a%20single%20sausage%20(the%20equivalent%20of%20two%20ordinary%20sausages)%20with%20yorkshire%20puddings,%20red%20cabbage%20and%20onion%20gravy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20were%20three%20cooked%20sausages%20left%20over%20from%20last%20night%20so,%20for%20lunch,%20I%20made%20'pigs%20in%20blankets'.%20%20I%20halved%20the%20sausages,%20opened%20a%20can%20of%20croissant%20dough,%20spread%20each%20of%20the%20triangles%20of%20dough%20with%20a%20little%20dijon%20mustard,%20then%20wrapped%20the%20sausage%20halves%20in%20the%20croissant%20dough%20and%20baked%20them%20at%20180C%20for%2015%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBoth%20dishes%20went%20down%20very.%20%20The%20Jubilee%20sausages%20are%20very%20meaty%20(76%25%20pork)%20and%20quite%20highly%20spiced%20a%20bit%20more%20like%20a%20cumberland%20sausage%20than%20your%20pork%20banger..%20%20I%20can%20highly%20recommend%20the%20croissant%20trick,%20%20I%20had%20the%20dough%20in%20the%20fridge%20and%20it%20was%20nearing%20its%20sell%20by,%20but%20I%20would%20go%20out%20of%20my%20way%20to%20make%20these%20again,%20the%20sweetness%20of%20the%20croissant%20worked%20very%20well%20with%20the%20sausage.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20sent%20a%20hamper%20of%20meat%20products%20by%20Farmison%20and%20Co%20for%20review.%20%20I%20was%20not%20required%20to%20give%20a%20positive%20review%20and%20all%20opinions%20are%20my%20own.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELabels:%20Farmison,%20hamper,%20onion%20gravy,%20Pork%20chops,%20pork%20sausages%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
