Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Unbleached All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Almonds, finely grnd
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated Lemon Peel
  • 3 Tbsp. Poppy Seeds
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 x Egg Whites
  • 1 tsp Lemon extract

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour (or possibly use parchment paper), a large cookie sheet.
  2. Mix dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients and mix with dry ingredients to create 2-15 inch logs. Bake 30 min. Cold slightly and cut diagonally in 1/2 inch slices. Bake 8-10 min more til dry. Cold completely before storing in an airtight container.
