Laugh if desired, but these are my favorite "baked beans," done right on the stove top.
1 x (15-oz) can pork and beans
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. liquid from jar of sweet pickles

Combine pork and beans, ketchup, sugar and pickle juice in a saucepan and heat till bubbly. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 min. Serve with sausage, corn bread and a green salad.
