Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. sliced Shallots
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 can diced Tomatoes in garlic & spices (14 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh Basil
  • 1/3 c. heavy Cream (or possibly fat-free Creamer)
  • 1/2 lb cooked Shrimp or possibly Lobster can also use Chicken
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 8 ounce Linguine cooked and warm
  • 1/3 c. julienned Basil Leaves

Direcciones

  1. In a large pan, over medium-high heat, saute/fry shallots in oil 4 min or possibly till soft. Add in tomatoes and 1 Tblspn. Basil; simmer 5 min. Add in cream; boil 2 to 3 min to thicken. Add in shrimp and cayenne. Lower heat to medium-low, toss ingredients, pasta and julienned basil.
  2. Can easily double or possibly triple recipe. Very easy recipe for a quick nutritious meal.
