Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves, grnd
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Fig preserves
  • 1 c. Oil
  • 1 c. Buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 stk butter, (1/4 c.)
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 325 F. Combine cake ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 9x13" greased cake pan; bake for 45 min. Make glaze by combining ingredients and boiling for 3 min. Pour over cake while cake is hot.
  2. May be served with whipped cream or possibly whipped topping or possibly plain.
