Receta Fig Cake (Sikopita)

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Cloves, grnd
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Fig preserves
- 1 c. Oil
- 1 c. Buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 stk butter, (1/4 c.)
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 325 F. Combine cake ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 9x13" greased cake pan; bake for 45 min. Make glaze by combining ingredients and boiling for 3 min. Pour over cake while cake is hot.
- May be served with whipped cream or possibly whipped topping or possibly plain.
