Ingredientes

  • butter
  • 3 lrg onions
  • 3 1/2 lb round steak, 1 1/2-inch thick
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 x bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dry rosemary
  • 2 whl cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 c. beer parsley or possibly chives for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Butter a 9 x 13-inch covered casserole dish. Cut 3 large onions into thick slices and place in the bottom of casserole. Lb. flour into the steak with a meat mallet. Place meat on top of onions. Bake uncovered in 450 degree F oven for 40 min. Reduce heat to 325 F. Add in bay leaf, rosemary, cloves, salt, pepper and beer. Cover tightly and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, or possibly till meat is very tender. Sprinkle with chives or possibly parsley before serving.
  2. Serving Ideas : Serve with buttered noodles, green salad, and beer.
