Receta Football Friday-Apple Butterkäse Bites
Ingredientes
- With a Crunch from the Apple~
- To get the recipe for Apple Butterkäse Bites and to learn more about Butterkäse Cheese~
- 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls (can use reduced-fat)
- 1 tart apple peeled and sliced thinly into 24 slices
- 1/2 t apple pie spice (recipe follows)
- 5 oz Butterkäse cheese, cut into 24 cubes
- Unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle; seal seams and perforations.
- Sprinkle with apple pie spice
- Cut into 24 pieces
- Lightly press onto the bottom and up the sides of ungreased miniature muffin cups
- Bake at 375 for 3 minutes
- Place a thin slice of apple into each cup, cutting apple to fit if necessary
- Place a piece of cheese in each cup
- Bake 6-8 minutes longer or until golden brown, cheese is melted and apple is tender
- Watch Carefully, they like to burn:)
- Serve warm
- Makes 2 dozen
