Ingredientes

  • 2 1/4 c. Sifted flour divided
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Shortening
  • 4 Tbsp. To 5 tbsp. water
  • 4 c. Sliced apples
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. For crust: Combine 2 c. flour with salt. Cut in shortening till mix resembles particles like peas. Set aside one c. of mix. Add in water to remaining mix; stirring with a fork. Roll out to 14x10" rectangle. Fit into 9x13" pan.
  2. For filling: Combine apples with sugar and place over crust.
  3. Combine c. of reserved mix with brown sugar, 1/4 c. flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 35 to 40 min.
