Ingredientes

  • Rich Sweet Pastry
  • 196 gm plain flour
  • 1 pch salt
  • 98 gm caster sugar
  • 98 gm butter
  • 3 x egg yolks
  • 500 ml Apple puree well sweetened (approx 896g)
  • 3 x dessert apples cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 x juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 Tbsp. apricot jam

Direcciones

  1. Method1. Make sweet pastry: place sieved flour in a large bowl and make a well in the centre.
  2. Place the softened butter egg yolks and sugar into the centre and slowly combine the flour into the centre.
  3. Healthy pinch mix together with finger tips till all the flour is incorporated.
  4. Work the dough quickly and lightly into a smooth pastry using the heel of the hand.
  5. Wrap the pastry in foil or possibly plastic film and place in the refrigerator or possibly a cold place for 1 hour.
  6. Carefully roll out pastry and line 9in/ 228mm flan ring.
  7. Prick the base of the flan with a fork and bake blind till pastry is crisp and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cold for a few min.
  9. Fill the flan case with apple puree.
  10. Place apple slices in large bowl pour over boiling water leave for 30 secs. and drain.
  11. Arrange in circular pattern on top of apple puree.
  12. To make glaze: heat the lemon juice and jam till syrupy but don't boil. Press through a sieve and spoon over the tart to glaze.
  13. Place under preheated grill for 45 min.
  14. servings: 68small oven: 210 degrees C approx 15-20 min PREHEATED bottom shelf.
  15. fan oven: 200 degrees C approx 15-20 min.
