French Beef Slice

Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 lb grnd chuck
  • 1 med onion -- minced
  • 1 x (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup -- undiluted
  • 1 x (10 3/4 ounce) can Cheddar cheese soup -- undiluted

Direcciones

  1. Cut bread in half lengthwise; carefully scoop out inside and break into bite-size pcs. Combine grnd chuck and onion in a large saucepan or possibly Dutch oven; cook till meat is browned. Stir in soup and bread pcs.
  2. Spoon meat mix into bottom half of bread shell and cover with top half of bread shell. Wrap loaf in foil; bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 min. To serve, cut into slices.
  3. Yield: 10 servings.
