French Breakfast Muffins

Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Butter, melted

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 deg. Grease 15 muffin c. (depends on the size of your muffin tins). Mix thoroughly, shortening, 1/2 c. sugar and the egg.
  2. Stir in flour, baking pwdr, salt and nutmeg alternately with lowfat milk. Fill muffin c. 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 min. Mix 1/2 c. sugar and the cinnamon. Immediately after baking, roll puffs in melted butter, then in cinnamon-sugar mix.
