Ingredientes

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 1/3 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 teaspoon warm water
  • 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 6 T confectioners sugar
  • 4 T cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/4 c. nuts, minced (slivered almonds are best)

Direcciones

  1. Cut angel food cake into 2 or possibly 3 layers. For filling, put together remaining ingredients and beat to spreading consistency. Spread filling between layers of cake.
  2. Add in sugar, cocoa and vanilla to whipped cream. Frost cake and sprinkle with nuts.
