Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. golden brown syrup
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 4 x fresh pears peeled & diced
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 4 tsp gr.ginger

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F & prepare pans. Thoroughly blend the margarine, sugar & golden brown syrup. Beat in the Large eggs & add in the lowfat milk, mix well. Stir in the pears. Carefully stir in the previously combined dry mix. Place in pans & bake for 25-30 mins.
  2. Makes 12-14.
  3. Variations: FP with Caraway - Add in 3 tsp of caraway seeds to the wet mix.
  4. FP with Nuts - Add in 1/2 c. of minced walnuts or possibly pecans to the wet mix.
  5. FP & Double Ginger - Add in 1/2 c. crystallised ginger to the wet mix.
  6. FP with Raisins - Add in 1/2 c. minced raisins to the wet mix.
  7. FP with Rye - Replace the flour with 3 c. rye flour & 4 tsp baking pwdr.
