%20and%20am%20completely%20out%20of%20sorts!%20I%20am%20hobbling%20together%20things%20for%20the%20moment%20and%20just%20happened%20to%20find%20these%20photos%20on%20my%20memory%20stick!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeems%20a%20bunch%20of%20my%20favorite%20people%20are%20vegetarians.%20To%20a%20lifelong%20carnivore%20this%20is%20truly%20a%20travesty.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWell,%20not%20really.%20They%20are,%20perhaps,%20just%20perhaps,%20slightly%20healthier%20than%20I.%20Being%20a%20vegetarian%20does%20not%20automatically%20make%20you%20%E2%80%98healthy%E2%80%99.%20At%20least%20that%E2%80%99s%20what%20my%20meat%20sodded%20brain%20likes%20to%20think!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20spoken%20to%20a%20number%20of%20vegetarians%20and%20always%20ask%20why.%20Why%20have%20you%20made%20the%20choice%20you%20have.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20always%20agree%20with%20their%20answers.%20Except%20one%20%E2%80%A6%20I%20just%20can%E2%80%99t%20eat%20anything%20with%20a%20face.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20suppose%20I%20can%20understand%20this.%20Living%20in%20a%20city%20and%20buying%20everything%20already%20prepared%20and%20clean%20and%20wrapped%20in%20plastic%20you%20don%E2%80%99t%20necessarily%20think%20about%20from%20whence%20it%20came.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20now,%20in%20talking%20about%20chickens%20and%20ducks%20and%20sheep%20%E2%80%A6%20the%20thought%20process%20changes.%20Okay,%20chickens,%20but%20only%20for%20laying,%20not%20eating!%20And%20ducks,%20well,%20just%20to%20keep%20the%20chickens%20company,%20certainly%20NOT%20to%20eat!%20Well,%20what%20do%20you%20think%20about%20sheep.%20Well,%20sure,%20sheep%20would%20be%20great%20%E2%80%A6%20for%20WOOL%20%E2%80%A6%20NOT.TO.EAT!%20Yes,%20yes,%20I%20know,%20I%20know,%20all%20the%20sentimental%20women%20in%20my%20life.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20I%20suppose%20I%20do%20understand%20more%20about%20being%20a%20vegetarian%20than%20I%20originally%20thought.%20It%E2%80%99s%20just%20hard%20to%20come%20up%20with%20dishes%20that%20will%20satisfy%20the%20vegetarians,%20semi-vegetarians%20(don%E2%80%99t%20ask)%20and%20flesh%20eaters%20all%20at%20once!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20pasta%20dish%20really%20works%20for%20everyone.%20Great%20ingredients,%20no%20faces,%20filling,%20fresh,%20lots%20of%20flavors%20and%20textures%20%E2%80%A6%20AND%20when%20into%20two%20bowls,%20some%20poached%20or%20grilled%20salmon%20mixed%20in%20for%20the%20flesh%20eaters.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20a%20large%20pot%20of%20water%20on%20to%20boil.%20Cook%20pasta,%20stirring%20occasionally,%20until%20just%20tender,%208%20to%2010%20minutes%20or%20according%20to%20package%20directions.%20Drain.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeanwhile,%20heat%20oil%20in%20a%20large%20skillet%20over%20medium%20heat.%20Add%20beans%20and%20garlic;%20cook,%20stirring%20frequently,%20until%20the%20beans%20are%20just%20heated%20through,%202%20to%203%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20the%20heat.%20Add%20tomatoes,%20olives,%20basil,%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20Stir%20gently%20to%20combine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20serve,%20divide%20the%20pasta%20among%204%20plates%20and%20top%20with%20bean/tomato%20mixture%20and%20grated%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
