Receta Fried Dim Sims

- Cover the wrappers with a cloth till needed.
- In a food processor grind pork till smooth.
- Add in bamboo shoots spring onion and coriander and work to a smooth paste using hands.
- To create the dumplings place a rounded Tbsp. of the filling in the centre of a wrapper and press the edges of the wrapper up around the filling to almost enclose it.
- Squeeze gently so the wrapper adheres to the filling with the top of the filling partially exposed and the edges of the wrapper almost meeting on top.
- Tap the base of each dim sim on the table to flatten . Heat deep oil to moderately warm and fry the dim sims several at a time till the pastry is golden about 2 min.
- Remove and drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve the dim sims warm with small dishes of soy sauce for dipping.
- Serve fried or possibly steamed.
- Hint. If preferred instead of frying steam the dumplings for about 6 min.This recipe also makes about 48 won tons. Use less filling and moisten the edjes of the wrapper fold into a triangle healthy pinch the edges together then bring the two outer points together. Deep fry or possibly steam as above allowing less cooking time than for dim slms.
