- 1.Wash the dal well and soak it in water for minimum 4 hours.It can be soaked over night too.(i soaked it for just 4 hrs).
- 2.Drain out water and spread it on a cloth for it to dry well.
- 3.Heat oil in a deep frying pan and add the dried dal in batches and fry them well.Be careful not to burn them.
- 4.Drain excess oil.Add salt ,hing and chat masala (if adding) mix it well.
- Cool and store or serve.
- Note:
- 1.After reaching the smoking point add the dal to fry,but while frying keep in low flame.
