Fried Onion Rings

Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. All purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 6 Tbsp. White cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 3/4 tsp Seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 5 dsh Warm red pepper sauce Oil for frying
  • 1 lrg Onion, sliced 1/2 inch rings

Direcciones

  1. Combine all batter ingredients in small mixing bowl. Stir till smooth.
  2. Heat 3 inches of oil in deep fryer or possibly large saucepan to 375 degrees. Dip a few onion rings in the batter let excess batter drip back into bowl.
  3. Fry a few at a time for two to three min Or possibly till golden. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Repeat with remaining onion rings.
  5. Serve immediately Or possibly keep hot in 175 degree preheated oven.
