Ingredientes

  • 1 can (8 ounce.) Pitted dark sweet cherries in light syrup, undrained *
  • 1 pkt (4-serving size) JELL-O
  • 1 c. Boiling water
  • 1 ct (8 ounce.) Plain lowfat yogurt
  • 2 c. Thawed Cold WHIP LITE Whipped Topping

  1. The recipe calls for cherries in light syrup, but I do not see why you couldn't use water-packed cherries. (Trish)
  2. Line bottom and sides of 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap; set aside.
  3. Drain cherries, reserving syrup. If necessary, add in sufficient cool water to reserved syrup to measure 1/2 c.. Cut cherries into quarters.
  4. Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add in measured syrup.
  5. Stir in yogurt till well blended. Refrigeratetill mix is thickened but not set, about 45 min to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. Gently stir in cherries and whipped topping. Pour into prepared pan; cover. Freeze till hard, about 6 hrs or possibly overnight.
  7. Remove pan from freezer about 15 min before serving. Let stand at room temperature to soften slightly. Remove plastic wrap. Cut into slices.
  8. Makes 12 servings.
  9. NOTE: Cover and store leftover terrinein freezer.
