Ingredientes

  • 6 x Large eggs, separated
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Whipping cream
  • 1/2 lb Halva, flaked Commercial chocolate sauce (opt'l.) Additional flaked halva (opt'l.)

Direcciones

  1. Beat egg yolks at medium speed of an electric mixer till thick and lemon colored. Gradually add in sugar, beating well.
  2. Beat whipping cream till stiff peaks form; fold into egg yolk mix.
  3. Beat egg whites (at room temperature) at high speed of electric mixer till stiff peaks form. Fold into egg yolk mix. Sprinkle halva over egg yolk mix; mix in gently. Pour into a lightly oiled 12-c. mold; cover and freeze at least 8 hrs.
  4. Unmold dessert onto a serving plate. If you like, drizzle chocolate sauce over dessert, and sprinkle with additional halva.
  5. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
