Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 x Env. Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 c. Water
  • 2/3 c. Lemon Juice Or possibly Lime Juice
  • 3 x Large Egg Whites
  • 1/2 pt ( 1 C) Whipping Cream

Direcciones

  1. In large saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and gelatine; add in water and lemon or possibly lime juice. Over medium heat, cook and stir till slightly thickened; stir in a few drops of food coloring in color of juice used, if you like (yellow or possibly green). Cold. Refrigeratetill partially set, about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites till stiff but not dry; fold into juice mix. In small mixer bowl, beat whipping cream till stiff peaks form; fold into juice mix. Tape or possibly tie 3-inch waxed paper or possibly foil "collar" securely around rim of 1-quart souffle dish. Pour mix into dish. Freeze 6 hrs or possibly overnight. Remove "collar". Garnish with whipped cream, candy lemon drops and gum drop slivers if you like.
  2. Return leftovers to freezer.
  3. TIP: Souffle can be chilled in refrigerato 6 hrs instead of being frzn.
