Ingredientes

  • 2 pt vanilla ice cream
  • 2/3 c. Coarsely minced walnuts or possibly pecans
  • 3 ounce Jar mixed preserved fruits

Direcciones

  1. Day before or possibly early in day:
  2. Turn temperature control of refrigerator to coldest setting
  3. Turn ice cream, slightly softened, into 2 ice cube trays.
  4. Into each tray, fold half of walnuts and preserved fruits.
  5. Freeze till hard; then reset temperature control. Serve with Royal Grape Sauce.
  6. Makes 8 servings.
  7. ROYAL GRAPE SAUCE: 2 tablesp. sugar 2 egg yolks 2 tablesp. grape juice 1 c. heavy cream
  8. Early in day if you like:
  9. In double boiler, combine sugar and egg yolks.
  10. Cook, stirring, over warm, not boiling, water, till thickened; add in grape juice. Cold.
  11. Whip cream; fold into grape mix; chill. Serve. on Frzn Pudding (above) or possibly ice cream.
  12. Makes 1 pt.
