Garlic Mushroom Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 3/4 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 x Clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Corn starch, dissolved in 1/4 c. water Freshly grnd pepper to taste
  • 1 dsh Sesame oil (I never use this)

Direcciones

  1. Place the mushrooms in a saucepan with 1/4 c. of the water. Add in the soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Saute/fry till the mushrooms are softened slightly, about 4 min.Add in the remaining 1 1/2 c. water and the cornstarch mix. Cook, stirring till the mix boils and thickens. Season with the pepper and sesame oil.
