Ingredientes

  • 1 lb carrots, scraped and sliced diagonally
  • 3 slc bacon
  • 1 sm onion, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cook carrots, covered, in a small amount of boiling water 15 min or possibly till crisp-tender; drain. Cook bacon in a skillet till crisp; drain, reserving 1 tbs drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside. Saute/fry onion in reserved drippings till tender. Add in brown sugar, pepper, and carrots; cook till thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with bacon.
  2. Serves 4.
