Glazed Hawaiian Cream Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 (8 ounce.) can crushed pineapple in syrup
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. minced mixed candied fruit
  • 1 tbsp. light or possibly dark raisins
  • 1 teaspoon rum or possibly vanilla extract
  • 1 (4 serving) pkg. instant pudding (coconut cream, vanilla, or possibly banana)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. whipped cream or possibly prepared topping mix, whipped
  • 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, cooled

Direcciones

  1. Drain pineapple but reserve syrup. Add in water to syrup to make 1/2 c.. In a small saucepan, combine cornstarch and syrup mix. Cook and stir over medium heat till thick and clear. Add in pineapple, fruit and nuts. Cold 1 minute longer and stir in extract. Chill.
  2. Prepare pudding mix with lowfat milk and blend in 1 1/2 c. whipped cream. Pour into pie shell and refrigerateat least 1 hour. Top with fruit mix and garnish with remaining whipped cream. Refrigerateagain. Serves 6 to 8.
