  • 6 Tbsp. white vinegar,
  • 4 pkt (1oz) unflavored gelatin,
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract (or possibly any flavor which you like) Craft Glue Vinegar
  • 1 x few drops peppermint flavor
  • 1 pkt (1/4) ounce unflavored gelatin,
  • 1 Tbsp. water,
  • 3 Tbsp. boiling water,
  • 1/2 tsp white corn syrup,
  • 1/2 tsp favorite food flavoring extract
  • 1 c. plain wheat flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered alum

  1. ENVELOPE GLUE #1:Bring vinegar to a boil in a small pan. Add in gelatine and stir till dissolved. Add in extract and stir till mixed. Brush on thin later onto back of an envelope flap. Let dry. Moisten to apply. Store in a sealed container and heat again by putting in a pan of hot water.
  2. ENVELOPE GLUE #2:Craft GlueVinegarA few drops peppermint flavor
  3. Mix equal amounts of the glue and vinegar.... Add in flavoring of choice.
  4. Store in covered container. Brush on envy flap, let dry. ALL PURPOSE PASTE
  5. ENVELOPE GLUE #3:Mix flour and sugar in a large pot. Slowly stir in cool water and form a paste. Add in boiling water slowly, stirring it vigorously. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, till thick and clear. Remove from heat and add in alum, stirring till mixed. Store in a sealed container. This will keep up to 3 or possibly 4 weeks.
  6. STAMP GUM:Mix gelatin with cool water and let sit until softened. Pour softened gelatin into boiling water and stir till dissolved. Add in syrup and extract.
  7. Mix well. Brush gum thinly of the back of sticker, envelope, label whatever...Let dry. Store in a sealed container will keep several months and put in pan of warm water to thicken it up to used again. Once cool it will turn to liquid.
  8. "Use this mucilage to make your own envelopes, note stationery, labels, and seals.
  9. This recipe makes about 1/2 c. that will provide adhesive for several dozen envelopes or possibly labels. It can be stored in a capped bottle for several months without spoiling but will set if cooled. It can be melted by putting the bottle in a pan of hot water.
  10. Bring 6 Tbsp. pure white vinegar to a boil in a small pan. Add in 4 packets
  11. (1oz total) unflavored gelatin and stir till completely dissolved.
  12. Add in 1 Tbsp. lemon extract. Stir till well mixed.
  13. Use a brush to spread mucilage thinly on the back of an envelope flap.
  14. Let dry. Moisten to apply.
  15. It can also be used to adhere paper to paper or possibly cardboard. Apply and stick at once.
