Receta GLUTEN FREE PORK TAMALES
By adding the juices from the pork meat to this makes this a great tasting treat!

- MEAT:
- 1 pork butt or roast
- 1 gluten free taco seasoning packet or seasonings
- 1 can rotel or diced peppers
- 1 white onion chopped
- place all the above in crock pot till meat falls apart( save the juice)
- MASA:
- I used 5 cups masa
- 1 cup Crisco (not oil)
- 3 cups saved juice from the meat
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- mix well ( I use my kitchen aid)
- CORN HUSKS:
- place corn husks in warm water for 30-60 minutes, till soft, gently take apart and clean if needed, you can also buy parchment paper husks that work I think even better. THIS MAKES ABOUT 30-40 TAMALES
