.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhite%20Frosting%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Combine%20the%20cream%20cheese%20and%20the%20sugar.%20Mix%20until%20all%20the%20confectioner's%20sugar%20is%20no%20longer%20powdery%20but%20moistened%20by%20cheese%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Add%20in%20the%20sour%20cream,%20and%20continue%20to%20mix%20until%20lumps%20dissolve%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Add%20in%20the%20rum,%20mixing%20until%20well%20incorporated%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Add%20in%20the%20mascarpone%20cheese,%20combining%20well%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Use%20to%20frost%20your%20cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20cake%20didn't%20turn%20out%20as%20deep-red%20as%20I%20would%20have%20liked,%20and%20I%20think%20there%20was%20some%20strange%20reaction%20that%20the%20cake%20had%20to%20the%20parchment%20paper%20that%20I%20had%20lined%20my%20baking%20pan%20with.%20For%20some%20reason,%20the%20parts%20of%20the%20cake%20which%20touched%20the%20parchment%20paper%20turned%20slightly%20brown%20in%20color.%20This%20didn't%20really%20impact%20the%20look%20that%20I%20was%20going%20for%20with%20my%20cake,%20as%20it%20kind%20of%20gave%20a%20%22red%20&%20white%22%20look%20to%20the%20cake%20itself...%20which%20was%20unexpected,%20but%20it%20looked%20kind%20of%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20baked%20my%20cake%20in%20a%209%20x%2013-inch%20cake%20pan%20and%20then%20divided%20it%20into%203%20sections,%20length-wise.%20Once%20the%20cake%20cooled,%20I%20placed%20the%20pieces%20in%20the%20freezer%20for%20~1hour%20to%20make%20slicing%20and%20frosting%20them%20easier.%20I%20then%20removed%20the%20cakes%20from%20the%20freezer%20and%20proceeded%20to%20divide%20each%20cake-piece%20into%202%20layers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20frosted%20the%20cake%20between%20each%20layer%20and%20then%20covered%20the%20entire%20cake%20with%20the%20rich%20frosting.%20I%20then%20decorated%20the%20cake%20with%20the%20Canadian%20hockey%20team%20logo%20made%20out%20of%20chocolate%20and%20used%20red-tinted%20coconut%20flakes%20to%20make%20the%20cake%20resemble%20the%20Canadian%20flag.%20This%20was%20a%20lot%20of%20fun!%20I%20sure%20hope%20my%20friends%20like%20the%20cake...%20and%20that%20Canada%20makes%20it%20on%20to%20the%20quarter%20finals%20tomorrow.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
