Ingredientes

  • 4 sheets puff pastry, 10"x10", 8 (5") circles to fill
  • 2 T butter, unsalted
  • 24 green onions, including tops, cut into fine julienne
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 c. fresh French bread crumbs
  • 4 ounce goat cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt & pepper

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in heavy frying pan, add in onions. Cook 30 min; cool. Beat egg and egg yolk with whipping cream and mustard. Stir in cooled onions, bread crumbs, goat cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Can be prepared ahead and chilled till time to bake.Divide into pastries, place on greased baking sheet, top with another circle, crimp edges, brush with egg and water glaze. Slash. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 min, turn off oven for 5 min.
