Ingredientes

  • 5 Tbsp. hot water
  • 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. arrowroot, mixed with 2 Tbsp. water

  1. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr does not contain cocoa butter, and so has substantially less fat than chocolate. Graham Kerr acknowledges which his warm fudge sauce, sans cocoa butter, has a slightly powdery finish and less richness than its higher-fat counterparts, but it will certainly satisfy chocolate cravings.
  2. Pour the water, cocoa pwdr and sugar into a small saucepan and stir over low heat till dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in arrowroot mix, return to the heat and whisk till thickened. Remove from the heat and whisk till smooth.
