Receta Gramma's Lentil Soup With Garlic Bread

- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions till soft (about 5 min).
- Add in the garlic, leeks, carrots and celery and cook for 5 min, stirring occasionally.
- Add in the paprika, herbs, pepper sauce, vinegar, lentils, tomatoes and stock. Stir well.
- Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40-50 min, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, leave to cold slightly, then liquidise in a food processor or possibly blender, or possibly pass through a large sieve.
- Pour back into pan and reheat. Serve with warm toasted garlic bread.
