Ingredientes

  • 8 x Freshly opened oysters
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 ounce Of clam juice
  • 1/4 c. Oyster liquor
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 dsh Of celery salt
  • 1 c. Half-and-half

Direcciones

  1. Place all of the ingredients except half-and-half and one Tbsp. of the butter in the top part of a double boiler over boiling water. Do not let the top pan touch the water. Whisk briskly and constantly for about 1 minute, till oysters are just beginning to curl. Add in half-and-half and continue stirring briskly, just to a boil. Don't BOIL. Serve piping warm topped with the remaining 1 Tablespoons butter and sprinkled with paprika.
  2. Note: To make more servings, do 2 at a time. Have bowls warm, and heat half-and-half before adding.
