Ingredientes

  • 1 x red onion minced
  • 1 x yellow or possibly green bell pepper minced
  • 1 1/2 lb boneless turkey finely minced
  • 1 c. bottled chili sauce (or possibly ketchup)
  • 1 x garlic clove crushed
  • 1 tsp Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 6 x French rolls

Direcciones

  1. Place onion, bell pepper and turkey in slow-cooker. In small bowl, combine chili sauce or possibly ketchup, garlic, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over turkey-vegetable mix; stir with fork to break up clusters of turkey. Cover and cook on LOW 4 1/2 to 6 hrs or possibly till turkey is very tender. Use a fork to break up any large chunks of turkey. Cut French rolls in half and toast. For each serving, spoon turkey mix over 2 halves of open-face, toasted rolls.
