Ingredientes

  • 8 to 12 green peppers
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. reg. rice

Direcciones

  1. Dice onion and brown in saucepan with oil, butter.
  2. Mix hamburger, rice, ketchup, onion, salt and pepper.
  3. Stuff peppers. With remaining meat mix, shape into oblong balls.
  4. Place in large soup pot.
  5. Mix can of tomato paste with 2 cans water and pour over peppers.
  6. Cover pot and simmer over low heat for one hour.
  7. CABBAGE:
  8. Cut cord. Boil till slightly hard. Drain. Break leaves and cut stems. Stuff leaves and roll making sure there is sufficient overlap to keep meat covered.
  9. Cook as above.
