- Heat sugar and 4 qts water to boiling, simmer 5 min; cold. Heat 4 more qts water to boiling and add in tea; steep 4 min. Strain and add in to cooled syrup. Add in juices and strain through cheesecloth. Add in 2 gallons water and mix well. Chill. Before serving, add in ginger ale. Add in red food coloring for color if you want. A delicious punch for weddings. Serves 200.
