A faint hot sauce aroma upon opening. Nine little fish to the tin. A medium textured fish. the sauce lets itself known on the first bite, the sauce actually has a mild heat to it. No strong flavors or aftertaste. The hot sauce flavor and heat stick around for a few seconds or so. Not a spiny fish, no scales detected. I would eat again. 3
