Ingredientes

  • 2 x Well-trimmed beef ribeye steaks, cut 1 inch thick
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
  • 4 whl pita pocket breads, warmed
  • 2 Tbsp. Crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced ripe olives
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dry basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dry oregano leaves

Direcciones

  1. Combine seasoning ingredients, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper; press proportionately into both sides of beef steaks. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat till warm. Place steaks in skillet; cook 10 to 12 min for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. To serve, carve steaks into thin slices. Arrange equal amount of beef on top of each pita; sprinkle with cheese and olives. Serve immediately.
  3. MAKES 4 SERVINGS.
