Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips
  • 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Prepared mustard
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp Dry oregano
  • 1 c. Yogurt
  • 1 x Cucumber, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Dill weed
  • 4 x Pita breads, *See note
  • 1 x Red onion, minced
  • 4 x Lettuce leaves

Direcciones

  1. Cut pork into thin strips. Combine extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, prepared mustard, chopped garlic, and oregano. Pour over pork. Chill 1-8 hrs.
  2. Stir together yogurt, minced cucumber, crushed garlic, and dill. Cover and chill.
  3. Remove pork from marinade. Stir-fry in non-stick pan over medium heat for 2-3 min.
  4. Open pita breads to create a pocket. Add in a lettuce leaf to each. Fill with pork. Top with cucumber mix. Garnish with minced red onion.
  5. Note: American pitas are larger. Only two, split in half, are needed.
