Ingredientes

  • 1 med. onion
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can sliced carrots, liquid removed
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can green beans, liquid removed
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. butter

Direcciones

  1. (Fresh vegetables may be used instead of canned). Brown onions slightly in butter. Add in flour and seasoning, blend well. Add in lowfat milk gradually and cook till slightly thickened. Add in Large eggs - cook slowly for one minute - stirring constantly. Add in grated cheese and stir in vegetables. Pour into greased baking dish, cover with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Serves 8.
