Ingredientes

  • 4 slices bacon cut 1/2 inch pcs
  • 2 med. size onions, minced
  • 6 c. chicken stock or possibly canned broth
  • 4 med. potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 2 med. carrots, sliced
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 pound green beans cut into 1 inch lengths
  • 1 pound Polish sausage, thinly sliced

Direcciones

  1. In a 5 to 6 qt pan, cook bacon over medium heat till crisp. Remove drain, set aside throw away all but 1 Tbsp. drippings.
  2. Add in onions, cook till soft. Stir in stock, potatoes, carrots, parsley, dillweed, marjoram and pepper. Simmer till potatoes are soft.
  3. Remove 1/2 vegetables and blend return to pan. Add in green beans and sausage bring to boil, cook uncovered till beans are tender. 6 to 8 servings.
