Green Tea And Mushroom Broth With Miso

Ingredientes

  • 1 x green tea bag
  • 3 c. boiling water or possibly vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 c. onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 lb white mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. carrot, shredded
  • 1 x 2 inch pc lemongrass, or possibly lemon zest
  • 1 lrg clov garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. miso, wrapped in plastic salt and pepper, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Steep tea in water or possibly stock till brewed, about 4 min. Remove tea bag.
  2. Heat 1 quart heavy saucepan till hot over medium heat. Add in olive and sesame oils. Immediately add in onion, mushrooms, carrot, lemongrass or possibly lemon zest, and garlic. Cook 4-5 min. Add in tea; simmer gently 5 min. Pour into thermos.
  3. When ready to eat, unwrap miso and drop in thermos. Cover and shake lightly.
  4. Makes 1 large serving or possibly two 1 c. servings.
