Ingredientes

  • 3/8 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 lrg celery stalks diced
  • 2 lrg green bell pepper seeded, diced
  • 4 x green onions sliced
  • 4 lrg garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 lb grnd turkey
  • 2 quart canned white kidney beans liquid removed, rinsed
  • 2/3 c. Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley

Direcciones

  1. Heat 4 Tbsp. of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add in celery and green pepper and cook 5 min. Add in green onions and garlic, cook 5 min, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, remove vegetables to plate.
  2. Add in remaining 2 Tbsp. oil. Over medium-high heat, cook grnd turkey till well-browned on all sides, stirring frequently.
  3. Add in cooked vegetables, kidney beans, Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce, water and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally. Uncover saucepan and simmer 5 min. Stir in parsley and serve.
  4. This recipe yields 12 servings.
