.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHaving%20taken%20Spanish%20while%20in%20high%20school,%20my%20understanding%20of%20the%20title%20of%20the%20blog%20was%20left%20as,%20%22Something%20foodie%20with%20coffee%20and%20sugar...%22.%20%20Chris'%20story%20however%20is%20far%20more%20interesting%20as%20it%20is%20simple.%20%20A%20set%20of%20canisters%20in%20her%20kitchen%20with%20the%20French%20words%20for%20Tea,%20Coffee,%20Sugar%20and%20Flour%20(Th%C3%A9,%20Caf%C3%A9,%20Sucr%C3%A9,%20and%20Farine)%20led%20to%20a%20family%20friend%20(and%20frequent%20lucky%20%22enjoyer%22%20of%20her%20treat%20filled%20kitchen)%20to%20say,%20%22That's%20it,%20Mrs.%20S!%20The%20name%20of%20your%20restaurant%20-The%20Caf%C3%A9%20Sucr%C3%A9%20Farine%22!%20%20After%20reading%20much%20of%20her%20blog,%20%20I'm%20here%20to%20say%20that's%20a%20restaurant%20I'd%20visit%20any%20day.%20%20Chris'%20smile%20and%20friendly%20way%20of%20writing%20has%20you%20feeling%20like%20you%20have%20been%20welcomed%20into%20her%20warm%20kitchen%20and%20you%20are%20eagerly%20awaiting%20the%20next%20treat%20fresh%20from%20the%20oven%20while%20enjoying%20a%20nice%20afternoon%20chat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAt%20this%20point%20I%20have%20to%20admit%20that%20I%20am%20not%20really%20a%20fan%20of%20bacon,%20however%20my%20family%20adores%20the%20cured%20meat%20whether%20it's%20a%20simple%20crispy/chewy%20piece%20of%20bacon%20or%20featured%20in%20a%20dish.%20%20The%20smell%20alone%20does%20me%20in,%20but%20I%20especially%20don't%20like%20the%20%22feel%22%20of%20%20the%20uncooked%20bacon.%20%20This%20recipe%20pushed%20me%20to%20the%20edge%20with%20a%20requirement%20to%20actually%20puree,%20yes...%20puree,%20the%20bacon%20and%20then%20rub%20it%20over%20the%20chicken.%20%20Strange%20and%20I%20didn't%20really%20like%20doing%20it%20,%20but%20after%20the%20first%20taste,%20I%20deemed%20it%20absolutely%20and%20totally%20worth%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETwo%20strips%20of%20uncooked%20bacon%20are%20indeed%20pureed%20with%20a%20little%20sugar,%20smoked%20as%20well%20as%20sweet%20paprika%20and%20salt.%20%20Rubbed%20over%20the%20sliced%20chicken%20and%20then%20threaded%20onto%20skewers,%20the%20kabobs%20are%20then%20grilled%20and%20brushed%20with%20BBQ%20Sauce%20for%20a%20delicious%20finish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETender,%20juicy,%20and%20simply%20exuding%20flavor,%20these%20kabobs%20were%20indeed%20fabulous.%20%20The%20entire%20family%20reached%20for%20seconds%20and%20mommy%20was%20the%20star%20of%20the%20evening%20(I%20love%20those%20kind%20of%20nights!).%20%20Most%20enjoyable%20though,%20was%20watching%20my%20dog%20salivate%20as%20I%20chopped%20up%20a%20little%20leftover%20piece%20to%20mix%20in%20with%20his%20kibble.%20%20He%20literally%20leaped%20to%20his%20bowl%20and%20within%20minutes%20had%20licked%20it%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChris,%20what%20a%20treat%20it%20has%20been%20to%20%22meet%22%20you!%20%20I%20will%20forever%20be%20an%20ardent%20follower%20of%20The%20Caf%C3%A9%20Sucr%C3%A9%20Farine%20and%20I%20look%20forward%20to%20more%20delightful%20dishes%20coming%20from%20your%20kitchen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrilled%20Chicken%20Kabobs%20with%20Bacon%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETender%20and%20extraordinarily%20flavorful%20chicken%20sure%20to%20be%20a%20hit%20at%20any%20gathering.%20%20Simply%20exuding%20flavor%20the%20kabobs%20are%20good%20fresh%20from%20the%20grill,%20or%20packed%20in%20a%20basked%20for%20a%20picnic.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Toss%20chicken%20and%20salt%20in%20large%20bowl;%20cover%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20at%20least%2030%20minutes%20and%20up%20to%201%20hour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Heat%20gas%20grill%20to%20medium%20high,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Divide%20barbecue%20sauce,%201/2%20for%20grilling%20and%20the%20other%201/2%20for%20passing%20at%20the%20table.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20grill%20heats,%20pat%20chicken%20dry%20with%20paper%20towels.%20Combine%20sweet%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Epaprika,%20sugar,%20and%20smoked%20paprika%20in%20small%20bowl.%20Process%20bacon%20in%20food%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eprocessor%20until%20smooth%20paste%20forms,%2030%20to%2045%20seconds,%20scraping%20down%20bowl%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etwice%20during%20processing.%20Add%20bacon%20paste%20and%20spice%20mixture%20to%20chicken;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emix%20with%20hands%20or%20rubber%20spatula%20until%20ingredients%20are%20thoroughly%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eblended%20and%20chicken%20is%20completely%20coated.%20Thread%20meat%20onto%20skewers,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erolling%20or%20folding%20meat%20as%20necessary%20to%20maintain%201-inch%20cubes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20kebabs%20on%20grill,%20turning%20one-quarter%20turn%20every%202%20to%202%201/2%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eminutes%20until%20well%20browned%20and%20slightly%20charred,%20about%208%20minutes%20for%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebreasts%20or%2010%20minutes%20for%20thighs.%20Brush%20top%20surface%20of%20kebabs%20with%20%C2%BC%20cup%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esauce;%20flip%20and%20cook%20until%20sauce%20is%20brown%20in%20spots,%20about%201%20minute.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20second%20side%20with%20remaining%20%C2%BC%20cup%20sauce;%20fli
