- Combine the peaches, pineapple, the 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, and tapioca in a medium bowl. Spoon into an 8- by 8- by 2-inch metal baking or possibly foil pan; set aside.
- Combine the oats, the 1/4 c. brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in another bowl. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till mix resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over fruit mix. Cover pan tightly with foil.
- Grill about 50 min or possibly till mix is warm and bubbly. Serve hot, with ice cream, if you like.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
- Comments: Fresh peaches and canned pineapple are topped with a spiced oat mix and cooked on the grill. If you cannot get ripe, fragrant fresh peaches, substitute frzn or possibly canned.
