Ingredientes

  • 4 c. thinly-sliced peeled peaches
  • 1 can juice-pack pineapple tidbits - (8 ounce) undrained
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar - (packed)
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine Ice cream (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Combine the peaches, pineapple, the 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, and tapioca in a medium bowl. Spoon into an 8- by 8- by 2-inch metal baking or possibly foil pan; set aside.
  2. Combine the oats, the 1/4 c. brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in another bowl. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till mix resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over fruit mix. Cover pan tightly with foil.
  3. Grill about 50 min or possibly till mix is warm and bubbly. Serve hot, with ice cream, if you like.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
  5. Comments: Fresh peaches and canned pineapple are topped with a spiced oat mix and cooked on the grill. If you cannot get ripe, fragrant fresh peaches, substitute frzn or possibly canned.
