Receta Grilled Mussels With Garlicky Herb Sauce

- Soak mussels in salted cool water for 30 min; drain and rinse. Pull off any beards from mussels; chill till ready to grill.
- Combine garlic, shallot, butter, wine, salt and pepper to taste in small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat till butter is simmering, about 5 min. Stir in parsley. Adjust seasonings and keep hot.
- Put mussels on warm grill in single layer. Cover and cook till shells open, about 2 to 3 min; throw away any mussels with unopened shells.
- Divide proportionately among 4 bowls. Pour warm herb sauce into 4 small dishes. Serve mussels immediately with sauce for dipping.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
