Receta Halibut Chowder

- Thaw halibut, if using frzn, cut into 1-inch chunks. Fry bacon till partially cooked in a kettle or possibly Dutch oven; add in onion and saute/fry till onion is tender; add in potatoes and water; cover pan. Cook over low heat 20 min, or possibly till potatoes are almost tender when pierced with two-tined fork.
- Add in halibut, lowfat milk, cream, salt and pepper; cook 6 to 8 min or possibly till fish flakes. Add in butter and sherry and heat 3 min. Serve with minced parsley and chowder crackers.
