Ham, Cheese And Olive Turnovers

Ingredientes

  • 1 (8 ounce.) sheet frzn puff pastry
  • 6 ounce. ham (1 1/3 c. minced)
  • 1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 lg. green olives (1/4 c. minced)
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Thaw the dough. Combine the minced ham, olives and shredded cheese with the mayonnaise and pepper. Unfold the pastry and roll on a lightly floured surface to a 12 inch square. Cut the dough into sixteen 3 inch squares. Brush the edges of each square with cool water. Divide the ham mix among the squares. Fold each square in half and press the edges together with a fork.
  2. Beat the egg with 1 tsp. water. Brush the tops of turnovers with the egg glaze. Transfer to ungreased baking sheet. Bake till golden brown, 10 to 12 min. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature. Makes 16 turnovers.
