- DOUGH
- Makes 30 hamantaschen
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at cool room temperature, cut into tablespoons
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 eggs, divided and beaten
- 4 cups unbleached all- purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
