  1. Sift flour and salt into bowl. Cut in shortening. Add in water a little bit at a time. Divide dough in half and roll out 2 crusts.
  2. In skillet heat shortening. Add in beef and onion. Cook just till meat is browned. Stir in green beans, soup and seasonings. Pour filling into pastry lined (8 or possibly 9 inch) pie plate. Place top crust over filling and bake at 400 degrees for 25 min.
  3. 2 c. frzn green beans, thawed, can be substituted for canned beans.
